Why and how to brush your turf
Published 30th March 2023 Tips
Brushing is now an essential part of sports turf maintenance and is used extensively on many golf courses and sports facilities to encourage healthy turf growth and also enhance presentation.
Brushes are used to remove dew to prevent fungal diseases, stand up the grass prior to mowing, prevent wet clippings clumping up, brush in topdressings, disperse wormcasts and leave beautifully striped turf.
Many brushes come with different bristle options enabling you to change the brush sections to do the different tasks more effectively.
If you do not currently brush your turf or are considering purchasing one, GreenTek have a range of brushes for many applications, Click on the links below for more details and videos on our most popular models.
