We’re now recruiting for a Business Development Manager

Due to expansion we are now recruiting for a Business Development Manager to be a vital team member of an established and progressive forward-moving company with a passion for innovation and growth.

Applicants will need the following attributes:

• Passionate, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Able to work on own initiative
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
• Knowledge of the turf industry and machinery would be an advantage
• Able to build relationships
• A full valid driving licence
• Professional, approachable and pro-active

Key aims of the role:

• To be ‘the face’ of the company
• Win new customers by building effective partnerships through negotiation and questioning
• Increase business with existing customers through promoting and selling existing products
• Be a vital cog in an established and progressive company

Key responsibilities:

• Visiting customers and potential customers to build relations and promote the brand
• Careful questioning and information collating from clients
• Transferring information collected and action points back to the relevant person
• Liaise with Team Account Manager to get an insight into the following week’s appointments
• Accumulate and report on any new opportunities discovered for GreenTek, including new product opportunities
• Pulling new accounts over the line to become a customer
• Increasing the number of customers who hold stock
• Train our customers’ own sales teams
• Represent the company in a professional manner
• Attend exhibitions as and when required
• Complete joint visits with customers to end users where necessary
• Complete monthly sales narrative of activity
• Have excellent/regular communication with Team Account Manager to ensure efficiency of role and activity targets are met
• Report accurately and on time
• Ensure quarterly targets are met through own individual performance, using relevant KPI’s
• Maintaining and growing sales through both our distribution network and directly with the end user.
• Following up on and attending any demonstrations of our products that take place
• Telecommunication skills
• Responsible for making own appointments and following sales process through to end
